Drought and Desertification
Since 1990, over 10 million people in Kenya have suffered the disastrous effects of drought; thousands more left in dire need of relief along with the prevalence of child malnutrition.
Drought and desertification are mainly a result of deforestation, environmental degradation and improper land use. The Kenya Red Cross Society is addressing the situation through feeding programmes as well as long-term interventions towards climate adaptation.
Drought does not have to destroy any more lives. We can put a stop to it together. Support this cause and help change the lives of millions in need.
